Would love to see John perform the song he wrote for Dr. Feelgood. Since Lee B. is gone. Wonder how John interprets it.

I'm a big fan of Paul Collins and The Beat and The Nerves. I've seen them play here in the U.S. as well as in London, England at the Bordlerline. Check out their website for free mp3 song downloads, latest tour dates etc.

Jack Lee of (The Nerves) played at a big power pop-based festival in New York a couple years back. Lee was backed by a band called The Plastic Letters. That night, they played a very short set that night. Lee messed up on Hanging On The Telephone and they had to restart the song. The bass player threw his bass guitar down and stormed off the stage. Jack Lee and the band were removed from the stage and the next act came on.

Jack Lee and the band touring with him obviously had some internal conflicts. What those conflicts were, we may never know. Could it have been intoxication? Drugs? Who knows.

I just discovered this webpage and this show that I would have killed to attend, being a HUGE Power Pop fan of both The Beat and The Records. I live in San Jose, so of course I am crying profusely.

A little hard to understand what you're saying: Case said he didn't want to work with Lee again, or is Lee unavailable? And if Case doesn't want to work with Lee, doesn't that deserve a followup question . . . why?
