Like a plume of smoke rising from the Georgia pines, post-Olivia Tremor Control outfit Circulatory System is sending us Signal Morning (Cloud Recordings) on August 4. It’s been eight years since the self-titled debut by Circulatory System, the group led by Will Cullen Hart, who’s battling multiple sclerosis. For Signal Morning, Hart recruited an army of Elephant 6 expats, including Olivias co-leader Bill Doss and Neutral Milk Hotel’s Jeff Mangum and Julian Koster. If Olivia Tremor Control was all about cubist castles and cut-up tape experiments, Circulatory System is about dadaist Taj Mahals and journeys to the dark side of a six-dimensional dance floor. MAGNET proudly presents the world premiere of Signal Morning track “Overjoyed.”
