Singer/guitarist Kate Cooper and drummer Damon Cox, ungrammatically known as An Horse, hail from sunny Brisbane, Australia, and consequently write sunny songs about sex, frustration and heartbreak. Listen to “Postcards” from An Horse’s first album, Rearrange Beds (released in March on the Mom And Pop label), below; it’s an indie-pop testament to the eternal awkwardness of love. Cooper and Cox are on a U.S. tour with the Appleseed Cast for the rest of this week and also have a San Diego date next month.
