There’s always a mental double-take when we connect indie-pop outfit Snowglobe to its hometown of Memphis. It’s like a country band from Brooklyn (wait, those actually exist) or Canadian surf rock (foiled again!). Anyway, Snowglobe will release the EP No Need To Light A Night Light On A Night Like Tonight on its Makeshift label May 26. Preview “Get It On” below, a track featuring a most Malkmusesque turn from vocalist Luke White and a spirited trumpet finale that reminds us less of Neutral Milk Hotel and more of James.
