Some years ago a French magazine named Tetu interviewed Pansy Division about out rockers in the US. I loved what they had to say, Jon's struggles within the gay community to be out and a rocker. I was a fan of Pansy Division myself. I was honored to be interviewed for the article too, about a novel I'd written in the 90s that imagined a whole out g/l/b/t rock scene, that was also anti grunge, but pro collecge rock, like the Loud Family (Scott MIller). The book was called Great Big Something and it can be found here http://www.amazon.com/Great-Big-Something-Andrea-Weiss/dp/059521083X/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1248890714&sr=1-3
