Free MP3 From Papercuts

papercuts370bAfter receiving high praise for 2007 release Can’t Go Back, the San Francisco-based Papercuts go completely analog and exclude all computerized recording software on You Can Have What You Want (Gnomonsong, due out April 14). With some recording help from tour buddy Alex Scally of Beach House, the album’s Walkmen-esque first single, “Future Primitive,” showcases a vintage ’50s bass line, reverberating drums and a Zombies-style vocal melody from frontman Jason Quever. Papercuts will be hitting the road with Vetiver in May.
