Not to worry if you miss tonight’s performance; U2 will be on Letterman all week. Not to worry if you miss anything U2 does, ever: Bono and his band will be around forever, nudging their way onto talk shows, presenting awards, receiving awards, making commencement speeches, appearing in documentaries, writing a Broadway musical based on Spider-Man, etc. Anyway, U2 is promoting its new album, No Line On The Horizon. Letterman, meanwhile, gets to boast about having his own “house band,” just like Jimmy Fallon.
